Thanks to a specially designed mast tabernacle & steadying wires the mast is easily raised and lowered by one person permitting motoring under bridges.
The mast partway raised using the whisker pole as a gin pole & block tackle.
A pelican hook permits rapid securing of the fore stay to the bow eye.
